Indication vaccinations for immunodeficiency or immunosuppression

When is an indication vaccination useful for immunodeficiency or immunosuppression?

Do you suffer from a congenital immune deficiency or HIV, do you have an autoimmune disease or are you taking medications that consciously downregulate your immune system? Then vaccinations are particularly important for you.

Certain vaccinations are even explicitly recommended for you, but live vaccinations are usually not allowed.
Did you know that it is also extremely important that your family or roommates have full vaccination protection? Because that's how they can help protect you.

Dead vaccines are always possible, but it can happen that your body has some difficulty building up complete vaccination protection. In individual cases, live vaccines are also possible; this must be considered in particular before starting immunosuppressive therapy.

What should I do next?

Would you like to find out more about whether vaccinations are possible despite your pre-existing conditions or are actually super important? Then simply make an appointment for a vaccination status check at one of our avi practices and talk to our team of doctors. The team will give you detailed advice on whether you are adequately protected or whether you should receive a vaccination.
